Halloween Decorations

Nevaeh had so much fun helping me put the Halloween decorations up!

Sydney - bath time... play time... and sleep time!

Sydney - 2 1/2 months old

Sydney has been doing really good at her tummy time!

Sydney loves to play in her swing. She just sits there and smiles and laughs... it's so cute!

Sydney just started sleeping through the night (about 10-11 hours!) in her crib all by herself! We are so proud of her and mommy is enjoying some sleep too :)

Fun at the Mall

We went to the mall to let Nevaeh run around... She had so much fun! And Sydney had a great time watching all the excitement

Good Times!

Sydney had her 2 month check-up today and it went great! She now weighs 10lbs and 13oz. The doctor was very impressed by her strength and how calm she is!

Mommy's Friends

Here is a picture of Mommy and her friends at Godchicks. It was a great weekend!


Mommy is very sad because her best friend Kelli is moving away. So mommy and the girls went out last night to celebrate Kelli and let her know how much we'll miss her!

Update on the Girls

NEVAEH - Nevaeh has grown into quite the little lady! She is talking all the time and has started talking in sentences. She loves to talk about herself, and always refers to herself in the 3rd person... except she can't pronounce her name too well... she just gets the last half of it out and it sounds like "yeaya" it's pretty cute! So when she is helping me clean she'll say "yeaya helping clean" ... and when she wants to eat she'll say "yeaya eat cheese" (which means mac-n-cheese)... and when she wants a hug she'll say "yeaya hug" or "yeaya tisses" (aka kisses)... and when she wants to look at pictures of herself she'll say "yeaya pictures". My personal favorite is when she does something funny like rolling around on the floor and says "yeaya sooo silly!". And One of her favorite things to say is "yeaya do it" - that's right - she is at the stage where she wants to do everything herself. And she gets so proud when she does it! she'll say "Look! Mom! Look!" and her whole face lights up as she waits to hear "good job nevaeh!".

She also is into repeating every little thing you say. The other day I picked her up and said "Nevaeh you are so heavy!" and she immediately repeated back to me "yeaya sooo heavy". She basically just follows me around all day and repeats whatever I say. Even when I'm on the phone talking to someone, she'll put her "phone" up to her ear and say everything I'm saying... it's pretty cute!

And today I asked her what she did today and she was able to tell me her whole day... I was pretty impressed! She told me she went to church, played with her friends, fell down and hurt her knee and cried, and she saw Paris and Holly, and that daddy went to work, and Sydney was sleeping, and we were now going home in the blue car! I was so blown away to hear her remember everything and be able to communicate it!

She also can count to 10 all by herself. And has about a dozen songs that she LOVES to sing (you guessed it... all by herself). If i try to sing along she'll say "no mom no shhhhh". And her absolute favorite song to sing is Happy Birthday - she'll sing it all day everyday to everyone she knows! She also loves to sing the "ABC's" and when she gets to the L M N O P part she says "layemiueolllaaaPPPP" it's adorable!

SYDNEY - Sydney is growing so fast! She is now 2 months old and loves looking a peoples faces and smiling at them. She also is now sleeping 10 hours at night... yea!!!!! she'll go to bed at 8:30pm and sleep until about 7am - I am so thrilled about that :) . Not much more to report about Sydney - she still just eats, looks around, and sleeps all day. She's a pretty easy baby!
